Editorial & Corrections Policy
How FateZiwei writes, sources, and corrects its content.
Classical sources first
Star, palace, and pattern content is written from public-domain classical texts (《紫微斗数全书》《紫微斗数全集》《骨髓赋》 etc.). Where we quote a named teacher, the quote is verified against the source lecture or text before publication; unverified attributions are never used.
School differences are labeled, not hidden
Where traditions legitimately disagree — the Si Hua tables, the late Zi hour, leap-month handling, month-stem methods — we say so and, where the product allows, let you switch between them. We do not silently pick a side.
Computation vs. interpretation vs. AI
Chart computation is rule-based and reproducible. Classical digest content is human-curated from sources. AI-assisted readings are generated content and are labeled as such wherever they appear. These three layers are never blended without disclosure.
No doom, no certainty
We do not publish determinate predictions of death, disaster, or financial outcomes, and we soften classical harsh language into constructive framing. Content is cultural research and education, not professional advice.
Corrections
Errors in star tables, translations, or classical attributions are corrected promptly and noted on the affected page. Report issues via the contact channel on the site; material corrections are acknowledged.
