Frequently Asked
What is a Zi Wei Dou Shu chart, and how do I read it?
A Zi Wei Dou Shu chart maps twelve palaces from your birth date and time, each with major stars and the Four Transformations. Start with your Ming Palace star, then the wealth, career and spouse palaces, and finally the luck cycles.
Where can I cast a free Zi Wei chart?
Right on this page — enter your birth date and time to cast a chart free, no signup needed. You'll see the 14 major stars, Four Transformations and luck cycles; save or share the result, or order a personal reading.
Is it 'Zi Wei' or 'Zi Wei (紫薇)'? Which is correct?
The correct term is Zi Wei Dou Shu (紫微). 紫薇 is a common misspelling of the same name — both lead here to the same free charting tool.
Which palaces matter most in a chart?
Most readers start with Ming (self), Wealth, Career and Spouse, then Spirit and Travel. Combine those six with the Four Transformations and annual cycles for a full reading.
How do I check my 2027 annual forecast?
Read the 2027 Ding-Wei overview (Taiyin Lu, Tiantong Quan, Tianji Ke, Jumen Ji), then your Ming star's year and zodiac outlook. A personal annual forecast gives month-by-month detail.
